National Science Week runs from 10-18 August 2024. Hydro Tasmania will be attending the Festival of Bright Ideas in Hobart, Big Science Gig in Smithton and an event at HIVE in Ulverstone.
Work exposure events are offered to students in Year 10-12 in Hobart and Launceston. These 1 or 2 day events will give you a taste of career opportunities and what it is like to work at Hydro Tasmania. You can register your interest in attending one of these programs by emailing workexposure@hydro.com.au
Girls in Power is a career exposure event for girls in grades 9 and 10 that will demystify careers in the power industry, develop confidence in skills and abilities, and inspire interest in STEM fields that have traditionally been for the blokes. Girls in Power in Launceston will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of August 2024. Girls in Power Hobart will take place on the 24th and 25th of September 2024.
