Real-time demand response provides dynamic, aggregated control of discrete customer loads with the ability to match system demand to available renewable supply. Hydro Tasmania has developed in-house expertise in aggregated real-time dispatchable demand management at either a domestic level, demonstrating sub second dispatch of aggregated loads, or at an industrial level for demand management of larger loads, such as a desalination plant.
